Brad:
Forget it. The M35 running at any speed is like a collection of parts flying
in close formation. My duece will do 60+, and down here in Texas on the
straight and flat, that's usually no big deal. But let me tell you, you MUST
stay on top of it every single second. Furthermore, your butt will give out
and you will go deaf in no time. Mine is engined with an LDT-465-1D, which
is a turbo diesel with NO muffler (by design). It is like sitting in the cab
with a turboprop a/c engine when you are flying down the road and have it
wound up to 2000rpm or so.
So, if you're buying a commuter, but a Ford. If you are looking for the all
time kick-ass 6x6 hunting lease off roader that will go anywhere and carry
anything you can put on it/hook up behind it, by all means, buy a Duece. I
really, REALLY love mine--but not to commute in.
Good luck/Be careful
Mike T.
