Bill,

I used to use this connection quite frequently, when I was in the Army
Reserve. We used it for inflating tires, inflating air mattresses (back when
they were still allowed), pressurizing M2 burners for field ranges, and lots
of other items. The Army issued a standard air hose, with built-in regulator
like you would find on the air hose at a gas station 20 years ago, as a
component of the tool kit that came with each truck. There was a female
fitting on the end of the hose that screwed onto the male fitting that was
mounted under the dashboard, on the firewall. It always worked great, for
me.

Dear List, as I read the excellent manuals for my M35 from Portrayal Press,
it mentioned that the multi-fuelers had a air connection in the right side
of the cab. This connection is for use of the air for tire inflation, etc.
Has anyone done this an what type of connection and hoses were used?

thanks, Bill
