Great idea, taking off the escape hatch! I had not thought of that. I have
not dropped either hatch since I purchased it. They appear to be pretty well
sealed on there, and what with the Seattle rain, I don't want to accumulate
any more drippage than I do already!
Locking the vision hatches down makes sure no one gets "Ferret Finger"...
