Charging problem.

Gentlemen,

As a result of a few of your kind replies, I started the engine and then
went to disconnect the battery. The engine stopped dead as soon as the
first lead was disconnected. Sooooooo, alternator, or Reggy. I'll perform
a simple replacement reggy test and see what transpires.
