WARNING - FIELD KITCHEN STOVES ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS !

WHILE SERVING IN THE MILITARY, ONE OF OUR HIGHLY TRAINED COOKS OPENED AN
AIR VENT WHILE IT WAS READING 0 POUNDS PRESSURE TO FILL THE AIR TANK.
THE GAUGE HAD BROKEN. THE GASOLINE SPRAYED OUT FAR ENOUGH TO BE
IGNITED BY A STOVE 25 FEET AWAY. THE COOK TURNED TO RUN AND SLIPPED IN
THE GAS.

HE CAME AWAY AS A BALL OF FLAME. HE HAD FOURTH DEGREE BURNS OVER 80 %
OF HIS BODY. HE DIED WHILE UNDERGOING PLASTIC SURGERY.

FIELD KITCHENS WILL NEVER BE ON MY SHOPPING LIST.

ENOUGH SAID.
