We Armor guns had the "fixed" version of the M240 for years. First it was
the coax machine gun on the M60A3, and the coax and loaders weapon on the M1.
Wonderful weapon.
You always wanted to have as much coax ammo as possible during gunnery.
Qualifying was always tough, and engagement times were short. Malfunctions
happened, but NEVER that I can recall with the coax!
