AMC was producing Military "jeeps" before they absorbed
Kaiser/Willys. It was the Special Products Division of AMC that produced
the M-422, M-422-E1 and M-422-A1 1/4 ton Mighty Mites way back in 1959.
Special Products Division became AM General after the merger.
