<< Of course, the only real training available is
from the driving academies and the military. The academies are expensive,

At our Mid South Chapter Rally last year (and scheduled again for this
September), we set up several driving skills tests as used by the Shelby
County (TN) Fire Department to train and test their pumper drivers. Everyone
enjoyed participating, and I suspect learned something about their (and their
vehicles) limitations. The folks at the fire training academy were very
helpful and eager to provide the info we needed to set this up.
