"Oh dear.
CDL, air/hydraulic brakes, windscreens down, no armour imports, tag (whatever
they might be) problems, so whatever happened to the "Land of the Free" we
keep
hearing about ?
Richard
(Southampton - England)"
That is just what I was thinking Richard! What has happened to the land of
the free? You know we're kind of like frogs in the preverbal boiling pot.
We sort of get acclimated to our condition till someone points it out like
this and we take note. Yet we're still stuck in the pot! There doesn't
seem anywhere to jump... it's all getting pretty bad.
Ironically the government frets over us in our big green toys, while they
recently misplaced $29,000,000 (that is 29 million!) worth in vehicles and
equipment owned by the Dept. Indian Affairs. (and still they can't find it!
lol) The waste is shameful here... absolutely absurd and shameful.
FYI: We spend an average of 2.9 billion dollars a year to staff Congress.
That is over $5,000,000 per elected official and what do we get for it? Not
much, unless you enjoy red tape and restictions.
I am please we have the MVPA and hope that in time it could become a more
forceful voice for us in our respective governments. We sure need it.
Keep em rollin...
Jack
PS Do you think it's too late for us to invade some no account, poor 3rd
world country with all our trucks n' jeeps and then make it over to our
liking? I can't use my Ferret though, England made me sign a promise I
wouldn't... "End user undertaking agreement". lol Guess they saw it coming.
