The fan clutch works off of the power steering pump. When the vehicle is
cold the fan switch is energized, which bypasses hydraulic fluid so it
doesn't activate the fan clutch. This also happens when you go to full
throttle, thus activating the time delay feature in the time delay module.

What I would do is disconnect the time delay module connector. This causes
the system to go into "emergency" mode, where the fan runs continuously.
This is outlined in the manual as something to do if the cooling system or
controls are malfunctioning. This should send fluid from the power steering
pump into the fan clutch system. As long as the fan blows your toupee off,
there is enough fluid in the system to do the job. If the fan doesn't turn
vigorously with the time delay module disconnected, you have a hydraulic or
cluch problem.

Try the above before you attempt to bleed anything. If the fan doesn't
engage properly, then give bleeding a try!

I have been scouring the tm's for any indication of bleeding the clutch
assy. I have found nothing.

Is bleeding required or ????
