Ken is correct that these listings will give you cross references,
however.......this is doing it the hard way.
The data file that is used to cross reference parts to all the items
they will fit is SB 38-101 " Repair Part to End Item Application". This
is available to Military units on CD-ROM. It is very difficult for
civilians to obtain this Supply Bulletin (SB) and you have to "know"
someone in the Military to get a copy. Unfortunately, this SB may not list
the M-422 as it has been out of service for a long while. I have an
earlier version of the SB in microfiche that not only lists the M-422, but
the M-38 and 38A1. This SB will give you ALL items that the part number
you have will fit on. ie, the fuel tank sender for the M-151 also fits a
100 KW Gen set. This SB also lists the same for Gen sets, weapons,
stoves, etc.
