So true on the M880 family of vehicles. Course the trucks weren't bought for
proven reliability....just to help out Dodge.
The WHEELS study proved decades ago that MOST tactical vehicles never or
rarely are driven off road. We got a bunch of militarized tactical vehicles
out of that. The Chevy CUCV's were pretty good.
The best part of the CUCV's and M880's though is that we are buying the real
tactical vehicles with a lot less miles on them than would be the case if
they didn't exist.
