Hi Listers,

good news from Germany: I got Kettenkrad #3. It is a postwar farm
tractor, built in 1948 under permission of the US military government.
If you are interested, have a look at:

http://www.kettenkrad.de/number3.htm

And the other good news:

Kettenkrad #2 is on the road now. I've done the first trial runs on the
road, around 30 miles in total. The vehicle runs well and begins to
become reliable.

A police patrol stopped me during the trial run. The officers jumped
out of their car and asked: "What is that?" They wanted to see the
papers and looked for the chassis number. They looked for the rubber
pads of the tracks, shook their heads and wished a good ride to me.

The oil damper of the front fork is leaking, in the left bevel box
is too much grease and there is still some other work to do. But I'm
sure to drive with this Kettenkrad on the Beltring event site this July.

Best regards from Germany
Andreas
