If you want the 12 conversion to look stock use a late 50's Dodge/Desoto etc
12 volt generator and regulator. This is a nut/bolt show. The regulator
for the gauges comes from 56 to 64 or so Ford product. The gauge
regulator is the thing that makes the clicks in the car radio. With what
ever starter you use make sure the teeth count is correct for electric start
