Be aware as a non-EU citizen you are subject to immigration controls and customs
clearance, this could take some time. You will need papers to show compliant
road use registration from French, Belgian, British or American authorities in
this instance and being a W.W.II American vehicle I suspect BATF will classify
it as lend lease until _proven_ otherwise, probably wise to investigate the F6
now before it gets impounded at Galveston.
Even filling with cheaper French gas, a ferry or the tunnel is cheaper and
safer, Dover to Beltring (July 19 - 23) is a relatively short trip.
The waiver permitting simply driving off a French beach onto a British one was
rescinded early 1945. . . . . . . . . .
