On the front cover of the book "The Fall of Fortress Europe. From the Battle
of the Bulge to the Crossing of the Rhine" there is a photograph of various
MV's crossing a pontoon bridge. The last vehicle in the photograph shows a
Dodge Command Car and unusually the spare wheel is mounted on the rear right
side of the vehicle instead of the usual place on the left front running
board. Does anyone know about this modification and any details of how the
spare was mounted?
