I have two unused studs protuding from the bulkhead, one just behind the
engine block, the other next to the horn, above the oil can.
Can anyone please confirm what these are for - I guess at securing locations
for earthing straps... but the studs are surely too long. In addition I'd be
really grateful if someone can tell me what thread they are likely to be -
I've been through my large box of spare nuts and so far havent found a
single on which fits.
I've never been too much bothered by these studs before, however recently
I've had some engine starting problems which I think are being caused by an
earthing problem - so I was considering attaching earthing straps to the
studs.
