Trying to help a friend restore some M1009 CUCV Blazers. He is in need of
"several" wheels for these vehicles. In trying to help, I've been looking
around the local "junk yards" hoping to find 6 bolt Chevrolet 4x4 wheels.
There seem to be a whole lot of differences in some of these wheels. Can
someone please tell me the exact wheel, perhaps with a number that I can
search for, or the exact dimensions of the wheels. I know (or I think I
know) that there are 6 bolts 2-3/4" on centers, and a 5-1/4" center hub hole
on a 15" Chevrolet wheel. I understand the main problem is the depth of the
offset and the width of the wheel.
Any help in this area would be appreciated. Also if you happen to have about
24 original type wheels in good shape for a cheap price, I know where you
can get rid of them.
Thanks, Tom Campbell - Birmingham, Alabama
