I picked up something called a "Night Vision Sight". Looks to me like
a Schmidt-Cassegrain type telescope of about 6" diameter. Came in a
real nice padded case that sat US Gov'ment all over it. It has a
compartment for a battery, and a wire going to the center of the front
reflector. The "back end" terminates with about a 2-1/2" hole. I
don't have the rest of it. I'd love to make a telescope or spotting
scope out of it. Does anyone know how these things work and if it
can be made into a scope? I think its about 1970 vintage.
