Greetings list;

I had to rebuild the vacuum pump on the old M-715 truck when I got it.
Memphis Equipment had the rebuild kit (which was a collection of gaskets in
a sandwich baggie) for just a few bucks. I pulled the fuel/ vacuum pump off
and rebuilt the whole thing in about an hour. Once installed both systems
work just like new. The only thing that I would have liked to replace was
the hardened steel pin that the plunger arm pivots on. It had a groove worn
on one side and I had to reuse it by turning it 180*. I guess it will go
another 30 years now. Give Memphis Equipment Co a call and see if they have
the kits for M-37...I'd bet they do.

Best of luck,

Correct!! Now all you need to do is find a new diaphram replacement kit for
the vacuum side of the fuel pump and hook it back in siries with the vascuum
line and (should be) Voila!! Correct operation of wipers with the throttle
closed or open.
