I am announcing this for a fellow who needs room for his motorhome:

CHUKAWILLA JEEP TRAILER

1946 modified Army jeep trailer. Chukawilla was the first Jeep club (civilian,
not MV) in the country. They got together and added a Conestoga shaped top made
of angle iron, covered in aluminum sheeting, then added canvas or plastic. This
zips up the four corners. The trailer came with a lunette hitch, but has an
additional ball-type hitch as well. The front of the trailer has a built-in
plywood grub box, as well as shelving for stowage. The Back has been modified
by cutting the back panel and converting it to a tailgate (military style, with
chains). This drops down even with the floor of the trailer bed. The bed is
covered in thick carpet, and the interior is lit by a dome light. The owner has
added truck style fenders, with aluminum wheels and lugnut locks. All the sides
of the canvas have grommets and poles to open the top on either side. The
trailer comes with two Navy style aluminum bunks that fold down on each side,
mattresses included. You can zip yourself inside at night if you wish.

Then he throws THIS out: "The Trailer trails anywhere you want to go, the
ROUGHER the better..."

Sounds like a challenge!

There are water cans and gas cans on either side, in for and aft holders.

Appearence-wise this thing looks like a professionally done modification, clean
lines, and if you gave it a good military paint job and canvas (its gold with
gold and white stripes canvas now), you could probably get away with it, and
have folks wondering when the army issued that model of trailer.

Seller wants $1000.00 for it.

His name is Chuck Saggau, and he can be reached at 714-525-1100. He's located
in Brea, CA. I would suggest not calling after about 7 p.m. Pacific Coast time.
