Somewhere in the Ferret articles on my website is a mention of the oil
used in Ferret torque converters in Australia. Perhaps we had similar
problems to what you are having and somebody has identified
as close a match as is available out here?
I vaguely remember it to be "Shell Aero Hydraulic something-or-other".
Have a look at my site. I am pressed for time at the moment and can't
look it up for you.
I do not warrant that the above oil or what we use in our vehicles is
suitable.
