Dear Listers,
Further to the recent thread concerning arctic/winter cammo jobs, I have a
piccy in a large hardback book entitled: WARRIORS, about the USMC, in
which the C.O.'s M151 A2 (CO, 36 MAU, Norway) has a 4-colour cammo job with
the portion normally reserved for the hue of the "local soil" repainted
badly, by hand-brush, in white. Interestingly, snow covered areas would
likely show little, or no, soil, so this would be in keeping with SOP,
albeit army SOP and this is a marine truck. Oh well.
