Ahhh, we are doing a brake inspection and have found that
one of the clips for the brake shoe hold down is broken.
Since these are rivited to the backing plate, a new backing
plate is required....BUT...would it be possible to salvage
one from another backing plate, drill out the rivits, and
use suitable allen head bolts to attach the clip to the
backing plate? Are the clips available separately? Has
anyone done this?
Thanks all,
Lisa
