Harry......... you need to get the stuck transfer sorted out, but quick !
This is symptomatic of a broken snap-ring. If anyone has access to
TB750-981-2 (unfortunately, I don't) then borrow it because there's an
article in that Tech Bulletin which describes the problem and the fix. The
TM9-2320-218-34 is the other way to go, but get it sorted asap. It's probably
easier/cheaper to go get a takeout transmission/transfer and exchange them.
then your vehicle will run, and you can sort out the snap ring at your
leisure. Sorry to bring you the bad tidings......
