The government doesn't worry about the sulfur content of diesel fuel any longer
because the army had done a study of the switch in europe. they switched about 3
years before the u.s... the army study concluded that using low sulfur diesel
fuel for long periods of time caused "catastrophic failure of the vehicle using
the fuel". so congress quick to fix problems they cause voted an exemption for
the military and all emergency service vehicles 2 months after ramming poor
quality low sulfur diesel fuel down our throats.

using a good fuel treatment such as stanodyne's performance formula will help
with most of the problems.
