60 amp alternater

I don't seem to have a wiring diagram in any of my numerous manuals showing
an alternator. I am considering switching to an alternator in my M170 as
it has a blown voltage regulator and I have the alternator in stock. What
hooks up to the small terminals on the alternator. Thanks in advance,
