Has anyone ever heard of the above company
with regards to the U.S. Gov't or especially
the U.S. Army? I know that "Union Hardware"
minus the METAL, etc., had Army contracts and
made ammo clips, for example. The Library of
Congress (online) shows a CATALOG #1 from
UNION HARDWARE & METAL COMPANY, LOS ANGELES, CAL dated 1902. The entry
says they are importers and suppliers of metal
and pipe, as well as suppliers of hardware.
My '39 big Ford Panel has this firm's name stencilled in one of its
cabinets. Thanks In
