42 Body completely wrong for 44 GPW?

How much would I be ridiculed at a show for having a 42 GPW body on a 44 GPW? Can modifications be made to make it seem like a 44? I am not too familiar with the composite bodies vs. earlier production. Can anybody shed light on this subject for me?
