Hello. I don't have that engine, but have rebuilt several engines. When
doing the assembly, did you mic the parts or use "plasti-gauge"? I always
use plasti-gauge. Slower method, but you really know all your bearing
clearances. Sounds like you might have spun a bearing. Might have been too
tight and not enough clearance for oil. A load noise is never good. I'd say
you are going back in.
