Just finished reading an interesting book on the history of bicycles in
the military. It's written by an Australian, and it covers the early
development of bicycles, early interest by the military, the use of
bicycles in the Boer, First and Second World Wars and in Vietnam. There
are some nice photos and the scholarship is well documented.
It's no longer available at Edward R. Hamilton, but perhaps a search on
Bibliofind.com or Amazon might prove fruitful.
