Tounge fit under MY tool box. Guess it would on your's, unless it's one of
those really deep ones. Have to ride with the trailer a little further back
than without tool box. On my Chevy the wheels centered on the gap between
the bed and the tail gate; had two 2x8's for ramps (stacked on each other)
and tounge sat on "ramps" and jammed under tool box - holding ramp boards
into truck. Can also put over top of tool box and not hit window, but puts
front of trailer up in air and makes a great air dam - lousy gas milage that
way. Stopped and put tounge under tool box and picked up about 15% better
mileage. Can't put tailgate up either way. Can leave at home if you put
over tool box; but must help support trailer if tounge under box.
Be sure to secure carefully. Trailer doesn't weigh much and COULD get
airborne without much effort. Drove 75 mph with mine with no trouble. Good
Luck,
Tom Campbell
