Tracked down exactly where that dripping after a drive from the transfer
case was coming from today, looks like I need to replace the seal on the
push rod that shifts the transfer case from high to low range. The part
manual suggests that this is installed from the outside of the case, but I
am wondering about getting the old seal out. Anyone ever replace this seal?
Is it possible to dig it out with a screwdriver, or is there disassembly of
the case involved?
