Ken is again absolutely spot-on, take heed.
In a later posting Claude writes:
"I believe this list has 500 to 600 members. Some of the subscribers to
this
list are also members of the MVPA. I would guess most are not. I hope that
we
all join the greater voice. We must be unified, polite, and knowledgeable
of
the issues."
Do bear in mind there are many of us "aliens" out here in the rest of the
world (not another planet as the popular mis-conception would have it),
should Pres. Holland be found out weighing-in the alien membership numbers
it would seriously discredit your case, I don't have a jeep so I am not a
MVPA member.
There is precious little the aliens out here can do to assist except to
offer heart-felt sympathy and every encouragement to go after the
perpetrator of this misguided piece of catch-all legislative dross and have
it nullified. I am flabbergasted and seething that my MV colleagues,
wherever they might be, should be so oppressed; it makes no sense, none at
all. For fear of another tirade from the large, southern State, how can it
be that the oft quoted beacon of liberalism, opportunity and freedom can
freely allow some seriously dangerous implements to one and all but then
shape up to effectively remove all the innocuous old MVs from private
ownership, crazy or what ?
Go after Mr Spence, just what effect did he intend when the biro hit the
paper ?
I sincerely wish you all well and a satisfactory conclusion.
