Thanks to all who responded to my problem with removing the USMC type wheel
hubs. It sounds like a sealer is applied on the threads at the time they
are installed and it requires heat and penetrating oil to free them up.
It was 108 here today and about 120 in the garage, sadly that was not enough
heat, so I am obtaining a heat gun to try to free these things up. I
purchased a socket for my air driven impact wrench and this did not budge
the pesky things.
Before giving up to the heat I soaked the hubs in penetrating oil and will
try again in a day or so, will let you know how this works out.
