Better to not ask and not stir. There will be no more releases
of AFV's or Cannon or Firearms that much seems sure.
As far as our state police go, in the midst of that gun buy back and the
ensuing confusion over demiled cannon etc when they effectively cancelled
all the "prohibited weapon permits" (permit to own a demiled weapon or/and
REPLICA of a demiled weapon) the following comment was made by a senior
police official to an armour collector I know. "We aren't worried about
you blokes, we know who you all are and where you are". We haven't figured
out yet just exactly how to take that comment.
At face value, I take it to mean:
We are watching, behave yourself and we will leave you
alone. "Don't" and we will be straight over to pay you a visit.
