Anyone know what the numbers mean that were placed on the old Air Force
vehicles, (mostly on the doors). The old style read US AIR FORCE under
that was a number like 86B 4322 and then under that was FOR OFFICIAL USE
ONLY...

How was the number 86B 4322 come up with?? was it the year and type of
serial number?? does anyone have any ideas??
