True, very true. Another nasty habit is for the left handed nuts on left
side to keep tightening slowly and eventually snap the studs.... promtly
shucking the wheel(s), usually while moving, not a pretty sight (seems more
prevalent in 1 ton Fords than others). Lugs should be periodically broken
loose and retorqued properly to prevent this. Very rare to see it on the
right side but helped rescue some friends who had it happen one night on a
Chevy box truck (another story). Compulsory HMV content: the trucks in
question also used to transport HMV's to various points of interest.
