Now that I have taken the ether assist off, thanks to all the suggestions from
the list.
I found the relay in place, only missing the glow plug controller. I ordered 8
new Lucas CAV11G
glow plugs from Diesel Injection Service (about 7 bucks apiece) and I am going
to just skip
the controller and go straight to the relay with a momentary on/off switch.
Anyway, is ther any reason not to put a tank heater on the heater hose of my
M1009,
I am hoping to use it as a daily driver and want to be sure it starts at 30
below zero
