The more I research the issue it seems it must be the "lazy author"
syndrome. In the begining of his book he attributes the militay Willys
engine being around today because of a governor, then near the end he states
the reason the ford jeep engine is scarce today is because it isn't
governored. The name of the book is "Essentially Jeep".
