Herb- I have made harnesses for both of my MVs no choice given what they
are. I bought all the wire correct color, cloth covered color trace, and
size as well as all of the connectors did the harness and shipped it out to
have the wireloom cloth rap around all of the different sections. Not
difficult to do if you have a good harness to work from. Figure that it
will take you 4-5 days to make the harness up. Compare that to what it will
cost to buy a harness or have one made. When I say made there are guys like
Joe Hall in Maine who make them to order (www.vintagewiringofmaine.com)
advantage of this is he can add things like turn signals while having the
harness look orginal. I've seen Joe's work and it looks real good plus I
have heard from people that he does quality work. Check the MVPA and supply
line for people doing harness, compare price and see who else is recommended
by people.
