I saw the model bike... about $135, cast metal with plastic (of course)
parts. It did really look nice; it had saddle bags and a Thompson with
scabbard and I believe it said it had a removable magazine - Oh Boy!. It
even had the sand shields. Neat.
Anyways, its a bit expensive, but I'll bet you will se 'em turn up on ebay
before long.

Subject: [MV] WLA Military Motorcycle
Hi List,
Just a posting for the military bike collectors. There is an add in the
Legion magazine that caught my eye and I thought I would pass the info on
to you.
I do not know if you all are aware that Franklin Mint has put out a 1942
Harley-Davidson WLA Military Motorcycle. It is not cheap, 5 payments @
$27. It seems to be quite exact.
Check out www.franklinmint.com
Hope it of interest for someone.
Note: I do not get a commission. Of course anyone that wants to send
one can do it without insulting me. Oh well, I tried.
Keep the OD rolling.
