Where as the A3 has a better Cat engine in it, it is coupled to an automatic
transmission which gobbles up a lot of horsepower.
The A3 has a computer controlled Centralized Tire Inflation System. The
computer is sensitive to power surges and moisture for a start. Then you
have all those lines and seals to go bad, oh and the air to the wheel is
routed through a hollow wheel stud ( one of only six ). Over all, a neat
idea if you are getting the sales pitch and don't have to work on them.
They mounted the hydraulic tank for the winch just behind the front bumper
on the left side, hanging down below the bumper so when you bump into
something you not only destroy the tank but you also have a hazmat event
 oil on the ground ).
The 14.5 x 20 tires ( super singles ) run a more narrow track than the old
duals which gives the truck more of a tendency to roll, especially when you
put a shelter on the back.

When you go to one of the delightful little garden spots in the world that
these trucks quite often go to, SIMPLE IS BETTER. Having the real bitchin
radio don't do no good when the truck that carries it, be broke.
I can get some young studs out there and push start an A2 if I have to, same
with the early model 5 tons, no electronic fuel control systems you see.

But this is my opinion

Randy
