Most of the Army moved out in the early 1970's. (Around 1950, the base was
mostly just the Army Counter Intelligence Corps and ASA. They moved to Ft.
Huachuca in Arizona.) There were a few DOD offices (The Army Criminal
Records Center and the Defense Investigative Service) that remained until
the mid 1990's. The last of them left around 1995 when the Base Realignment
and Closure (BRAC) committee recommended closure in I think 1988.

Thanks. I hope I am successful in keeping them where they are now. If not,
it is going to be a big job to dismantle them. I will definitely will need
some help and some volunteers to pull this one off.
Todd.
