The barracks that I was in at Camp Pickett Va in March of 1951 was the
same. To clean the windows we just lifted off the wood trim & took the
windows into the shower room.
The wind storms blew out several windows & frames often.
We won a ball game in the quadrangle by hitting the ball right through
the barracks wall.
Yep - they were the good old days.
