I just finished watching and old movie on TNT entitled "An American Romance"
(1944) starring Brian Donlevy. From when the character started out making
iron in the steel mills to manufacturing cars and to airplanes, it has a lot
of great footage in all of these factories to include at the end making
P-38's with all of the "real" factory noises! MV's are in there too. The
earlier steel mill footage is narrated of how it is done very explicitly.
Very unusual for a movie. Good plot and worth watching. Julian
