In the hotrod world, one of the favorite looks is flat black primer. Only
problem is it does not stand up very well to the elements. When we want to
get that look but have it last, we paint the car gloss black then use a flat
or semigloss clear finish over it. You can adjust the amount of flat easily,
and it lasts as well as a new car finish!
