Problem: Gen light for #2 does not light. I grounded
the black wire that plugs into the alternator and the
light lit up. Pulled the alternator and installed a known
good one. Took it off my M1009. Same problem. I had
the M1008 alternator checked and it is good, so I
installed it on my M1009 and the light does its thing.
Now what?
