Generator light gets brighter as fan speed gets higher in my Blazer 1009

Hi all!
New problem tonight. As I turn up heater fan generator 1 light gets
brighter. On hi it has dull glow. Turn off fan, light goes out. I'm
starting to feel like the little Dutch boy.
