    Oh I hear you.. I got involved in the warbird space a good
   15 years ago. During that time I have seen more stupid people,
   bureaucrats and bad government policies screw thing up more often
   than I care to think about.. A couple of earlier posts list out
   some of the horror shows I've been sad witness to..

   Think thats sad ?? a few months ago I got into a bidding war
  with a fellow over this MINT QC110 1941 Chevy Crash truck at
  one of the DMRO auctions.. I mean this puppy had spent all its
  life indoors . Zero rust anywhere. They drove it to the auction
  site..All the data plates and special accsoseries IE Pump and
  such worked .. After the guy exceeded my budget to buy it I
  had a quick chat with him.. Turns out he is going to cut the
  fire fighting equipment off and MAKE A DUMP TRUCK OUT OF IT !!!!!

  That was back in July.. I am still pissed off about it ....
